☆ Read carefully before applying. Send questions via email or through social media ☆

  • You must be at least 16 years old to participate.

  • You must create a new piece with original composition for this project.

  • Your pieces should stay secret the whole duration of the zine. Please do not post WIPs in public unless you were given explicit permission!

  • GenAI is strictly prohibited. This includes using images or text generated by ChatGPT, Chatbots, and other generative AI tools in your submissions.

  • Users found to be tracing, copying, and committing any type of art theft will be removed and banned from the project.

  • Harassment and hate speech is not tolerated, and any offender will be removed from the project.

  • Repeated failure to check in on time, and so without any prior communication, will result in your removal from the project.

PAGE / SPREAD ARTISTMERCH ARTIST
Artists will create an illustration either in a page (A4 / 210 x 297 mm) or spread (420 x 297mm) format.Artists will create a piece of merch, either physical or digital, to be bundled together with the Zine-Album.

— Three samples of what you consider your best work: ideally, this will be fully coloured pieces, akin to what you will create for the zine.
— A link to your portfolio with at least three completed pieces in it.
— At least one piece must feature VOCALOID characters, ideally DEX and/or DAINA.		☆ APPLICATION ☆
— Three samples of what you consider your best work, this must be in the same artstyle and format you will use for the zine (show keychain designs if you're applying to do keychains, etc.)

MUSIC ARTISTALBUM ILLUSTRATOR
Musicians will create a song at least 2:00, with DEX and/or DAINA as the main vocals.Artists will create an illustration (1:1) to accompany a song created by a musician contributor.

FAQ

  • ❝Will there be a Physical release?❞
    Yes! The Zine and Merch has a guaranteed physical release. Currently, we cannot promise a physical CD album, but our team is working on researching options.

  • ❝Is NSFW allowed?❞
    NSFW is not allowed, please keep your submission SFW.

  • ❝How will contributors be compensated?❞
    Proceeds made from the Zine, Album and merch will be distributed amongst contributors. The amount will depend on how commercially successful the Zine-Album is.

  • ❝Do I have to include both DEX and DAINA in my submission?❞
    It is preferred, as both of them celebrate their anniversary.

  • ❝Can I include other vocal synth characters in my submission?❞
    Yes, but only if they are a minor inclusion (cameos, background vocals). DEX and DAINA should be the main focus!
